- Kumarakom / Alleppy are the backwater place. There are no sightseeing at this place. One has to enjoy the backwaters & its scenic beauty.
- Drivers of South India cannot communicate in Hindi at all. They will only co-ordinate in English but their English is not very fluent .They follow the tour itinerary & will communicate only for the schedule & sightseeing places. They will not be able to guide or give complete details about any sightseeing place. Basically they are drivers & not guides.

Day 1 : Cochin - Kumarakom (50 Kms, 2 Hrs)

Kumarakom – It’s a small town located on the backwater lagoons of Vembanad Lake in the southern state of Kerala, India. It is famous for it is natural beauty. Kumarakom is like the gemstone of Kerala with an emerald green surrounding, a labyrinth of canals, lakes and backwater, migratory birds soaring across the sky. The town has a concoction of varieties.On arrival at Kumarkom check into the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure or enjoy resorts facilities. Kerala offers some world best Ayurvedic treatments, giving you a complete relaxation of mind, body & soul. You can try the same at the resort at additional cost. Day 2 : Kumarakom
- Early morning visit to the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary (Entry Fees applicable as per actual), where a significant number of bird species are known to make migratory visits. Birds like the Siberian crane, egret, heron, waterfowl, ducks, moorhens and Kingfisher are commonly found. Return have breakfast freshen up. Afternoon visit Aruvikuzhy waterfall the best-hidden gems of the State and a beautiful picnic spot which is active during the monsoons of Kerala and is all dried up during summers. It is enveloped by thick rubber plantations providing a serene and idyllic setup. As the sunlight gleams on the descending water, it changes color and warmth with every hour. Evening visit Kumarakom Beach – The tranquil location of the Kumarakom beach is located at the kottayam district. The alluring beauty of the coastline with its pristine sand & smooth waters is what attracts the visitors.
